Olesya Romano was born and raised in Novosibirsk, Russia. At the age of 14, she started working as a model. During her modelling career, Olesya began to take an interest in styling and photography. It all started when she was invited by Mario Testino to take part in photoshoot for American Vogue. This made her realise that she wants to try herself on the other side of a lens. Modelling helped her develop a good taste to create something interesting.
In 2012 model turned photographer, Olesya Romano, made her photographic debut with the opening of "VISION TRANSITION" at Hong Kong's The China Club. The exhibition highlighted 27 black & white and color photographs. These photos have presented and sold through "VISION TRANSITION", with a portion of proceeds going towards charity, including half of profits being donated to ORBIS HK.
After her successful exhibition Olesya moved to London to study Fashion advertising at istituto marangoni then proceeded to work for The Love Magazine.In the end of 2014 Olesya decided to move to Los Angeles, where she continues to explore the world of fashion.
